The Enneagram is a powerful tool, blueprint, and body of wisdom that provides a map of human behavior to help you get to the root of your wounds and to the heart of your gifts.

Our ego is a beautiful protective device that developed when we were young to help us meet our needs. In many cases, these methods are no longer functional, and these strategies prevent us from connecting to our hearts and keep us separate from ourselves and others. And many of us haven’t been taught how to get our needs met outside of the strategies, so we keep repeating the same painful patterns at work, at home, and with our friends and family.

These patterns are often blind spots. They are automatic programs that start running without much awareness. The Enneagram illuminates these programs and helps us slow down and choose new methods and tools.

Simultaneously, it provides me insight into how to guide you more effectively with awareness of where you may need more support or a different approach to take action.

There are many online typing assessments one can find and take; however, I recommend that we schedule a typing session to explore discovering your core type.

Through my training with The Narrative Enneagram Tradition and the Deep Coaching Institute, I have learned techniques to identify type and will help you do so.

The tests can be supportive, but sometimes our desired outputs can alter the accuracy of our inputs because of the blind spots in our shadows.

Somatic work is powerful and transformative. The body is a living library of everything that has happened to us. Emotions are energy in motion. When emotions don’t have anywhere to go (maybe we suppress crying, maybe we grip our muscles due to fear, perhaps we swallow our anger), they get trapped in the body.

Somatic work gives our inner world a voice. And that inner voice is profoundly wise. All the answers lie within us.

Somatic-based sessions allow us to safely and slowly go within, listen, and uncover our truths and gifts.

Sometimes this can feel different or strange if we have spent many years disconnected from our bodies. We will only go as deep as you are ready to go as we continue to create more capacity for the tolerance and acceptance of the body's full experience.

The goal of the work with the Enneagram in partnership with somatic work is to bring the three intelligence centers online and to work together. The three intelligence centers are: the body, the heart and the mind. When we access the present moment, these centers lock into their power.

Indigenous and ancient cultures work with the energetic and unseen realms to shift and clear blockages when appropriate.  It is a helpful method for supporting the healing of past-life and ancestral wounds we’ve carried into this lifetime.

I have been studying with Shamans and Shamanic Allies for years, learning energy work and the ways of plants. Shamanic Energy Healing is powerful work that pairs well with somatic work to move out stuck energy that no longer serves you. I also have studied Reiki I and II, which I may weave into our sessions. Your consent is always required when doing this work.

We may work together, and you may choose to work without this healing; however, I encourage you to try it and feel the shift for yourself.

I recommend committing to once-per-week sessions for at least 3 months of somatic-based guidance, with shamanic energy work woven in. The work generates profound self-discovery and insights that require time to integrate.

Integration is the most critical ingredient to meaningful change, and it can often be easier for a guide to hold sacred space and provide safety and accountability.

Integration will continue as you cultivate more capacity and presence in your life, as more will reveal itself as your personal container strengthens and generates greater clarity.

If and when it makes sense, plant medicine can support this journey and help clear the path; however, it is not the right path for everyone, and something to remain curious about and listen to your intuition about.
